The Vienna Public Library strives to provide the best services possible in our mission to improve the quality of life for all citizens of our community.
Our library has a large collection of both fiction and non-fiction adult, teen, and children’s books. In the adult section, there are audiobooks, local and national newspapers, magazines, a revolving book sale, lounging space, and more. The kid’s section also houses board books, picture books, a media center (listen to audiobooks in the library!), as well as several games, computers, and toys. The library also has an ever-growing collection of CDs, Blu-Ray discs, DVDs & Video Games (Xbox 360/One, Nintendo DS/3DS, Wii, PS3/4).
The library recently opened a Makerspace, which currently has a 3D printer, Cricut Air, and a sewing machine. Schedule a time at the library to use the Makerspace for any of your creations!
Our meeting room is available free of charge, to any group whose purposes contribute to the civic, cultural, educational or economic advancement of the community. Some audiovisual equipment is also available with the room’s reservation. Patrons can rent the meeting room for private parties at $10 an hour. Click here for more information/to request the room.
The library has eight patron computers which can be logged onto with a library card in good standing (learn how to get one). If you are just visiting the area, a guest pass can be used. There is a color printer linked to each computer; black and white pages are $0.10/page and color are $0.25/page.
The library has wireless internet service available during our open hours, no passcode required (join Vienna Library: Public).
The library has many forms available at the front desk, including voter registration forms, notary public applications, tax forms and instructions, living will and medical power of attorney forms, and more. Government forms are free; any other form is $0.10/page.
Our staff can clean your old or scratched media (CD/Blu-Ray/DVD/Video Game) discs for $1.00/disc.
Our circulation staff can notarize documents, such as living wills, bill of sales, and more, free of charge. Patrons must bring a photo ID and sign the document in front of a notary.
Our staff can send documents to any working fax number for $1.00/page. A free cover sheet is provided if necessary. The price goes down if you are sending more than 5 pages. You can also receive faxes here for the same price (our fax number is 304-295-7776).
Our library has a copy machine and a printer that patrons have access to use for $0.10 per black and white page or $0.25 per color page.
Our staff can laminate business cards for $0.50/page, letter size for $0.70/page, legal size for $1.00/page, and ledger size for $1.50/page.
