Vienna Public Library was established by the Vienna Woman’s Club in 1954 and reorganized under an independent Board of Trustees through the City of Vienna in 1973. The mission of the Vienna Public Library is to improve the quality of life for all citizens of our community by providing, in the most efficient manner possible, resources that enhance and contribute to individual knowledge, enlightenment, and enjoyment. The Board of Trustees and the staff will work together to serve the public and respond to the changing nature of library services.
