Teen Summer Reading Programs:

Tuesday, June 13th – Builders @ 2:00 pm
Build a city at the library! This project benefits the kid’s program at the library and counts as community service hours!

Tuesday, June 20th – Upcycle Art @ 6:00 pm
Learn how to make old junk into new art! Bring in old t-shirts and books if you have them! Tie Dye, DIY, and art galore!

Tuesday, June 27th – Speak Up! @ 2:00 pm
Learn some basic techniques for sharing ideas and opinions in a clear, interesting way (without anxiety taking over!).

Tuesday, July 11th – Tea time @ 6:00 pm
Tea is more than just a tasty beverage! Learn about the history and culture of tea, decorate your own mug, and make a custom loose leaf blend of tea to try out at home.

Tuesday, July 18th – Rube Goldberg @ 2:00 pm
What can’t a machine do? That’s what Rube Goldberg wanted to know, and we’ll find out by building ridiculous, absurd machines!

Tuesday, July 25th –PARTY! @ 6:00 pm
Celebrate Summer by playing games and spending time with friends! Prizes will be drawn—must be present to win!

Teen Titans: Your Power Makes Change
June 26th – 30th 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Do you want to make an impact? The library is
sponsoring a week of discussions and workshops with guest speakers to help teens learn how to change the world.

YA Book Club
We will discuss a YA book once a month. June and July’s books have been selected, and we will vote on books starting in August. Participants must be entering 7—12 grade.
